JKA - KARATE TRADITIONAL CLASS
6 - 9 Years Old Saturday 10:00am - 11:00am 10 - 14 Years Old Saturday 11:00am - 12:30pm
The Japan Karate Association - JKA (Nippon Karate Do Kyokai) is an educational body for the study of Shotokan Karate-Do that provides its members with worldwide technical standards and certification. It was founded by Master Gichin Funakoshi in 1955 in order to preserve and improve the teaching of Shotokan Karate-Do.
This is the newest program at TMA and it is offered to members who’s desire is to study the traditional way of the JKA Shotokan Karate-Do.
In JKA Karate class the students enter in the world of the most traditional karate training, highly dynamic physical art, a complete training of the mind and spirit as well as the body.

8 - 10 Years Old Friday 6:30 - 7:30pm 11 - 14 Years Old Friday 6:30 - 7:30pm
The “Competition Class” is a very Special Program and it is separate from all others TMA programs. This program consist in:
KATA (Forms)
KOBUDO (Weapons Forms)
KUMITE (Sparring)
MENTAL PREPARATION
To participate in this class you must be Green Belt or higher and a extra $25/month will be added to your TMA monthly membership. (Bonus Saturday Competition Class INCLUDED)

BONUS COMPETITION CLASS
One week before all TMA SCHEDULED Competitions we offer a BONUS COMPETITION CLASS:
SATURDAYS one week BEFORE the TOURNAMENT:
10:00am - 11:30am KATA and KOBUDO
12:00pm - 1:30pm KUMITE
This class it is open ONLY to people participating in a week in the tournament.
The fee for the Bonus Competition Class is $30 for both Kata and Kumite.
